HOW TO CONTACT YOUR
 DES MOINES PUBLIC SCHOOLS

There are a number of ways in which you can easily and readily contact people in Des Moines Public Schools, whether it’s a member of the School Board, a principal or administrator, or your child’s teacher.

You can download a copy of our annual directory by clicking on the image to the right. This 180-page PDF document lists all school district employees by their school or department, along with their position, phone number, and mailing address.

There are also a number of ways in which you can contact us through this web site:

• If you would like to contact a member of the School Board, you can find their phone number, mailing address, and email address here.

• If you would like to contact a school district administrator, you can find their phone number and email address here.

• If you would like to contact a school, you can find phone numbers, mailing addresses and email addresses here, where you can also access individual web sites for our schools.

Finally, if you already know the name of the person, you may email an individual school district employee by putting a period between their full first name and last name and sending it to the DMPS web address, like so:

Firstname.Lastname@dmps.k12.ia.us
