KidStriders Program

This year, every child in 1-5th grade has the opportunity to walk laps in the gym after their lunch.  When students walk a certain number of laps, they get a foot token.  Students will then have the opportunity to do a "victory lap" at Drake Relays in April 2010.

Welcome Mrs. Stinson!

The Stowe School community is excited to welcome Adrian Stinson as our new office manager.  Adrian joined our staff on Monday, October 6, 2009.  Make sure to welcome her to our school next time you call or visit.

Partnership with Neil Smith Wildlife Refuge

Stowe School is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Neil Smith Wildlife Refuge.  Students will have opportunities to go on field trips to the refuge, as well as having their employees come to our school.  If you want to know more about the Neil Smith Wildlife Refuge, you can visit their website.

Red Ribbon Week

Students at Stowe Elementary will participate in Red Ribbon Week from October 26-30th.  Each day, students will have the opportunity to dress up to show how they will lead a drug-free lifestyle.  The dress-up days are:

Monday“Drugs Give You The Blues”

Wear blue

Tuesday“Team Up Against Drugs”

Wear team jerseys/top

Wednesday“Put A Cap On Drugs”

Wear interesting hats

Thursday“Dream It, Believe It, Achieve It, Drug Free”

Dress as your chosen career/an occupation you’d love to pursue
